You might've noticed that some of our most loved apps have had some changes and they now feature additional apps inside with a subscription.
Over the years we've worked very closely with our friends at Sago Mini and we've both shared a vision to empower kids with the Power of play, Creativity and Self-expression. We've also wanted our customers to have the best value and discoverability with our products. So after many requests from parents and kids around the world we've decided to team up (with our Parent company Spin Master!) and offer some of our apps within a subscription model. So (provided your app is up to date) we would like to introduce you to Toca Boca Jr (previously Toca Kitchen 2) and Toca Boca Jr Hair Salon 4 (previously Toca Hair Salon 4) 🎉
These apps are no longer listed under Toca Boca on app stores but can be found under "Piknik" - a fun new place for you to hang out with Toca Boca and all the studios powering Piknik! You can also upgrade to the Unlimited Piknik subscription giving access to apps from the whole family of studios powering Piknik - giving you endless ways to play and learn!
With Toca Boca Jr, the Toca Kitchen 2 play experience will be free to play forever, but there will be a great lineup of many of our other Toca Boca products available to play - within the one app! We plan to continue adding to this lineup over time so keep an eye out for your other favorites 👀
Players who have purchased any of the apps added to the Toca Boca Jr subscription will still have access to them - no one loses access to anything they’ve purchased!

Toca Boca Jr Hair Salon 4 will have the same play experience with all in-app content available with the subscription. If you've previously made an in-app purchase with Toca Hair Salon 4, the good news is that for you this update will come with a free Lifetime subscription with all the content unlocked 😮 We hope that you enjoy all the content and thanks for supporting us with Toca Hair Salon 4 in its early days of development!
We want to clearly state and shout to the world 📣 DON'T WORRY TOCA BOCA ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE! We’re still going to continue bringing great updates to Toca Life World and we’ve got some exciting stuff on the horizon. We’ll continue working on new games too!
