Sometimes words just aren’t enough, and for that you have emotes! In Toca Boca Days, emotes let your character express themselves through all sorts of little animations fit for the mood you want to show. Feel like dancing? Maybe you just gotta let out a few tears. Come to think of it though, a nap would be nice. Or actually, let’s go all the way with a breakdance!! Did I mention dancing?
There are two different categories of emotes:
Emotes
These are your standard good old emotes that you can use whenever you like. They don’t require any partner and only apply to you (in a literal sense, others will probably get very impressed by your sweet moves).
Co-op Emotes
Co-op emotes are a bit different however. Here we’re talking actions like hugs and piggybacking. This means they do require another player. Let’s take hugging as an example. In order to hug:
- Press the emote like any other emote.
- Now your character will be holding their arms out, inviting other players for a hug.
- For other players, you’ll have a white icon above your head. If they choose to accept by pressing that icon, you’ll hug each other!
