There's two things that will affect how the game performs for you, this being:

  • Your network
  • Your device

Let's cover both!

Network

By network, we basically mean your internet connection. This can be mobile data or Wi-Fi, and since this is an online game that needs to connect to a server with other players this can be a very important factor.

If you're experiencing issues, it can be worthwhile to try the following:

  1. If you're using mobile data and experiencing issues, try to switch to a Wi-Fi connection.
  2. Vice versa, if you're using a Wi-Fi connection and experiencing issues, try to switch to mobile data if it's available for you and see if that helps.
  3. If you're running a VPN on your device, try switching location (preferably close to your real location) or even turn it off.
  4. Ensure there aren't any other downloads or heavy internet activity on your device that could occupy most of your bandwidth, leaving too little for the game to use.

If none of the above helps you out, it could be the case that the network connections you're using aren't quite fast enough to facilitate a stable and speedy connection to the game servers. But it could also be the case that your internet is actually completely fine, which brings us to the next factor...

Device

Your device will have a huge influence on the performance or "frame rate" of the game, as your device needs to process everything that's happening in the game and draw all the pretty graphics in milliseconds over and over again. Different devices will have different abilities in this regard depending on their components.

If you find that you're experiencing lag in the game, you could try and decrease the "Graphics Quality" setting in the in-game settings screen. This will decrease the visual quality of the game, but in turn make the game less demanding on your device which should hopefully allow it to run smoother.

(1) In this case, the slider is all the way to the right meaning the visual quality is as high as possible. Pretty, but could be too much for some devices. Dragging the slider to the left will decrease the Graphics Quality.

Hopefully all these tips will help make the game feel smoother for you, and do know that we are always working on improving performance. If you're still experiencing issues after trying all of the above, feel free to reach out to us by pressing "Chat with us".
