We’ve been so thrilled to see all the excitement around Toca Boca Days, all the support means so much to us!
This is our first ever 3D multiplayer game, and we've been learning lots along the way. BUT, we have realized that to make this game even better, we need more time to work on it.
As of 26 September, Toca Boca Days has been removed from Android platforms everywhere, but is still available on iOS in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Sweden. This will allow us to test and learn quickly and make sure services run as they should. This however, doesn’t mean Toca Boca Days won't launch, we’re just making some adjustments before introducing it to everybody.
We know this will lead to some disappointment, but please know, we’re still hard at work and promise to keep you updated on how the game is shaping up.
Is the game being canceled?
No, we truly believe in the potential of Toca Boca Days, but after hearing your feedback we realized there was more work to be done to make this game the best it can be. The team will be working hard on fixing and developing content over the coming months and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on our progress!
Why are you removing the game on Android from some markets?
We want to be as focused as possible and to find the right mix of ingredients to make Toca Boca Days really special. Reducing the number of platforms the app is available on reduces complexity, allows us to test and learn quickly and make sure services run as they should.
I spent money - will I get a refund?
We will provide refunds for any purchases for hard currency made on Play Store for Toca Boca Days. For this, customers will need to can reach out to our support team by pressing the "Chat with us" button below. We would require a copy of the Google Play receipt clearly showing the GPA order number.
How can I delete my account?
If you wish to request to have your account deleted, we'll need the parent/guardian to contact us via our web support. You can do this by:
- Heading to the Toca Boca website
- Press "Contact" and then "Get app support"
- Navigate to the Toca Boca Days section and press "Contact us" at the bottom of the page, and ensure you use the same email that was used to create the Toca ID account.
Will you launch on Android in the future?
That’s the plan, but right now we don’t have a timeline for when we’ll be up on Android. Be sure to keep an eye on tocabocadays.com for updates.
