If you've experienced a crash and/or reset and as a result have lost your gifts, do not uninstall the game. We instead recommend to manually reset your Toca Boca World app by pressing the red reset button in the top right corner on the start screen, as this should restore your gifts. 

Please note that resetting your app will also reset all of your progress within Toca Boca World . However, your purchases should still be there and as well as any characters you've created in the Character Creator. If your characters were missing or looking strange, this should be fixed when manually resetting as well. 

Once this is done, your gifts should appear on the shelves in the Post Office in Bop City. 

The reason we strongly advise against uninstalling the game is that all your saved data and progress in Toca Boca World is stored locally on your device. This means that if the game is uninstalled, this data is uninstalled with it. This includes gifts, so if you've switched to a new device or if you've uninstalled Toca Boca World and reinstalled it, then the gifts can't be restored unfortunately. By extension, this means we don't have a way to add them in manually.

However, all gifts from 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 will now always be on the Post Office shelves (this was part of our Gift Bonanza during our Anniversary celebration), so there'll be a ton of stuff to get you going if you need to switch device or uninstall/reinstall.
