You might have noticed today that when you launch the game you need to update to the latest version of the game (1.116.2) in order to keep playing. 

We realize this is a bit frustrating for some of you, but due to technical reasons it’s needed for all players to continue playing the game and have the best experience possible.

The good news is that most players should be able to update to the latest version and there should be no problems! 🕺

For Android players, you will need to be running a minimum of Android 7 with at least 2GB RAM or Fire OS 7.0 or later with at least 2GB RAM in order to update to the latest version of the game (1.116.2). For some of you, you might not realize you can even update the game 😳 no problems! It’s actually a pretty easy process provided your Android/Fire OS is all up to date. You can simply visit the Google Play / Amazon Appstore listing for Toca Boca World and if you can/need to update the game there’ll be an update button waiting for you to click 🙂


We do recognize that for a very small number of players not able to update to the latest update this might mean that you’re no longer able to continue playing the game. Please click “Contact Us” and our Support team will assist you wherever possible with getting back up and running on another device if one is available to you.

In terms of any refund requests, if your purchase was made on Google Play and it's been less than 14 days, we can assist you directly. Just click “Contact Us” below and send us a copy of your receipt with the GPA number, and our Support team will be happy to help. Unfortunately, Apple and Amazon don’t allow us to process refunds on their behalf so you would need to contact the platform directly with one of the links below:
