We're aware of an issue where some players are reporting missing purchased content after updating to 1.126. We're truly sorry for the inconvenience of this issue 😔
We have solved this with a hotfix update (1.126.1) but unfortunately it doesn't solve the issue for those portion of users affected that played 1.126. Rest assured, we will assist with getting any missing purchased content back, but it's great if you can attempt the troubleshooting below first to see if you can restore the purchases yourself.
If you are on an iOS device, we recommend seeing if you can solve this issue by doing the following:
- Click the "Restore purchases" button at the bottom of the shop
- Turn your device off, restart your device and then relaunch Toca Boca World (as this clears the cache)
If you are on an Android device you can try the following to see if that solves the issue:
- Go to Settings on your Android device.
- Go to the Apps section and find the "Google Play Store" app.
- Open it and find the option to "Clear Cache".
- Restart the app and your locations should show up.
Or
- Go to Settings on your Android device.
- Go to the Apps section and find Toca Boca World.
- Open it and find the option to "Clear Cache".
- Restart the app and your locations should show up.
If the above steps do not solve this issue, then please submit a support ticket by clicking "Contact us" below and provide a screenshot of your device ID (you can bring this up by tapping 5 times on the logo of the main menu) and confirmation of your purchase history and/or copies of your receipts and then we can add in the content missing manually. If you are on Android/Google Play please ensure that you include the Google Play receipt with GPA order number and that the name of the purchased content is clearly marked.
App version 1.126 was live for a small number of users from Feb 27th - Mar 2nd and for all players from Mar 3rd-5th, so if you have hit this issue with only playing the latest release (1.126.1) then please let us know in your support ticket.
