If you have a new Amazon device and are trying to get back to playing Toca Boca World, then your previous purchases should be restored automatically, provided you are logged in to the Amazon Appstore with the same Amazon account used to make the purchases. 

However, if you change your Amazon account or platform your in-app purchases will not be there as the apps/purchases are account specific rather than device specific and as such your purchases are tied to the Amazon Appstore.

Any other apps purchased are also non-transferable between devices with different stores (eg Amazon AppStore to Google Play etc). If you've got the same Amazon account with the same store, you should be able to get it again.

If the purchases are still not showing up on your device then try the following:

  • Double-check that you are logged in to the Amazon Appstore with the Amazon account that the purchases were made on. Try logging out and then back into the Appstore and then relaunch the app to see if that helps.
  • Make sure that your app is running the latest version. You can always check the Appstore listing to see if there's an update waiting for you.

Additional things to try on an Amazon device:

  • Go to Settings on your Amazon device.
  • Go to the Apps section and find the "Amazon Appstore" app.
  • Open it and find the option to "Clear Cache".
  • Restart the app and your locations should show up.

  • Go to the Apps section and find Toca Boca World.
  • Open it and find the option to "Clear Cache"
  • Restart the app and your locations should show up.
