We've made the decision to make our Toca Life standalone series removed from sale on app stores in some select countries. These have been an important part of Toca Boca's legacy, but continuing to offer them for sale has created some confusion among parents/guardians, i.e when they purchased a standalone app many thought they were getting Toca Life World (which is free to download). We want to avoid this confusion and removing them from sale is the best way to achieve this.
If you currently have the app downloaded you can continue playing, however there will be no updates to the games. Also, if you’ve downloaded them previously on your device depending on the platform you’ll find the app in your app store library.
Our apps will no longer be supported in these countries and we will no longer be able to release updates to fix any issues.
However, you can still find all the locations from any Toca Life standalone app available in Toca Life World!
Also, if you've purchased a Standalone app, then (depending on if you have previously downloaded the app on your device or not) you can redeem the content into Toca Life World also Please visit here for instructions on how to do this. Toca Life World is free to download, comes with a lot of fun content for free. From there it’s up to you how you choose to expand your world! You can either make purchases in the shop, or just enjoy the free weekly gifts that can be found inside the post office location every Friday 😊
We’ve made every effort to ensure that playing with Toca Life World is something the whole family can enjoy, without intrusive prompts to make purchases. It’s important to us that you don’t have to buy anything to get a full play experience; which is why the initial download comes with 8 locations and 39 characters, and all users get free gifts every week.
Additional districts will only show in the game if you have already purchased content from that district and you can also always disable the shop at any time by switching it off in the app’s settings.
